This simple, easy-to-prepare, delicious and popular dish is often used to welcome guest in parties or breakfast.
Selected lean and fat meat (including both fat and lean) is boiled or steamed, sliced into thin pieces. Girdle-cake is taken from famous handicraft villages in Phu Yen such as: Hoa Da (An My commune), Dong Binh (Hoa An commune) and Phuong Lua (Chi Thanh town).
When serving, girdle-cake is used with boiled meat, salad, fennel, cucumber and acrid banana to make up a small roll and then used it with fish-sauce which is made of anchovy, fermented fish and mackerel. It is sure that tourists shall deeply feel the charming favor of Phu Yen homeland.
