The Fam trip was organized by FLC Travel and Event JSC, connecting more than 50 travel companies and the media from HCM city and Hanoi to Phu Yen on the occasion of the re-opening of two new airline routes connecting HaNoi and HCM city with Tuy Hoa city by the Local carrier Bamboo Airways.

I came Phu Yen 10 years ago, on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of establishment and development of PY, at that time this place was also the host of National tourism year in the South central coast region. Coming back this year, I’ve been surprised by the development of the “yellow flowers on green grass” land
Firstly, Tuy Hoa Airport and the system of restaurants, hotels and resorts have developed considerably. The beach is beautiful and clean. The service quality is good and also more affordable than the ones of the surrounding provinces, but it is a paradox that group inclusive tours do not chose this place for long- term stay. Accommodations in Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, are the common and popular options for travel affiliate programs, while Tuy Hoa has only been chosen as a 1-night accommodation…
In my opinion, communication and promotion being not decent enough is the reason that makes fewer tourists come to Phu Yen than other places. Communication is the top-of-priority factor which has adequate investment to make strength and efficiency in tourism promotion. At this, Quy Nhon- Binh Dinh is excellent.
Although Phu Yen tourism has developed quite quickly, it hasn’t been popular with nationwide population. If state management agencies and investment enterprises do well in the sector communication, I believe that Phu Yen tourism will have a spectacular breakthrough in the future.

As a tour organizer and the first one to experience and use service before introducing to customers, I feel Phu Yen tourism still has “grits”
For example, Phu Yen tourism is famous for the sea, but visitors who want to go to the beach couldn’t find out any specific information, especially on common websites.
In addition, visitors coming here has not really relaxed or felt comfortable to play and use services from the sea as its scarcity. The infrastructure and service quality are not really good. A number of entrepreneurs haven’t paid enough attention to their infrastructure and service. But we can sympathize with them, especially after a year of being affected by Covid-19 pandemic
However, tourists are getting more fastidious and having high demand, so first of all, there must be an adequate investment to get the benefits. Phu Yen people are known for sincerity and hospitality but a small proportion working on service, hotel and restaurant field is lacking of smile and such friendliness. Although this issue is not popular, entrepreneurs should remember to remind their own employees about service attitude and keep a smile on their faces.
