Vuc Hom is at the upstream of a large stream in Vinh Xuan village, An Linh commune (Tuy An district). The waterfall here falling from above looks extremely beautiful. The rock has longitudinal structure, forming vertical blocks with some fractures and cavities like caves, quite similar to the rock at the national landscape Da Dia Reef (An Ninh Dong commune, Tuy An district).
There are two ways to Vuc Hom. From Tuy Hoa city, go to the north, turn left at Hoa Da intersection (14km) to reach Van Hoa plateau – Uncle Ho Church about 13km, then turn right into a concrete road (enough for 16-seat cars) to An Linh commune about 7km, finally, walking about 1km on a gravel road to Vuc Hom. Another further way, from Tuy Hoa city, go the north to Chi Duc quarter (Chi Thanh town, 30km), then turn left to An Linh commune about 15km and also have to walk 1km to reach Vuc Hom.
This is a pristine area, so those who want to explore and experience need to prepare enough food and water… To enjoy the cool atmosphere at night, groups need to prepare more necessary items such as flashlights, lighters, clothes, canvas, knife or a small woodcut, digestive medicine, wind oil… and tents to set up at the stream. Mrs Dang Anh Thu, a visitor from Hanoi, lets known: “I have visited quite many places in Phu Yen, but Vuc Hom is the ideal place that I and my friends are fortunate to experience. Coming here, we can relieve stress, regain spirit, immerse ourselves in nature, especially soak in the cool, clear blue water, which is very interesting”.
